The Little Scholars Preschool playground is officially under construction. It may not look like much right now, but the lot on Cecil Street is undergoing a makeover that will provide a much-needed play space for our 2-5 year-olds. Physical play is an important part of learning, and outdoor time helps kids learn important social, emotional, and regulatory skills.
The total cost of the play area is $125,000, which includes site preparation, grading, fencing, surfacing, and equipment.
