The TCP Scholars are excited to welcome Theresa McDuffie to our programming team. Ms. Theresa came to us by way of the 2022 summer SWAT program as a counselor. During her time this summer she was instrumental in the development of our 3 – 5 butterfly group, engaging them in spelling bees, games, a dance party and leading the
Olympic games. A 14-year veteran working with children, Ms. Theresa graduated from Norristown Area High School, attended Early Childhood education courses at Montgomery County Community college and received her Child Development Associate degree in 2016.
Ms. Theresa knew early on that she had the desire and skills to work
with children and found an affinity for school age, “ I believe that the children are our future, and we are here to help them grow and learn…. Watching them grow and learn makes a difference in life.”
Ms. Theresa is a welcomed addition to the administrative team, and we look forward to the great things she will do with our scholars.
