Happy New Year! The Common Place Orchestra students are starting 2022 out strong despite the fact that we had to postpone our Christmas performance due to Covid-related concerns. Nevertheless, our students enjoyed their Christmas break and have recently resumed their lessons at Cornerstone Christian Academy and The Common Place Scholars After School Enrichment Program.
We will be continuing our Saturday morning orchestra rehearsals later this month, and we are looking forward to announcing our new performance date soon. Stay tuned!
This spring, we will be launching our first ever TCPO Practice Competition Extravaganza! Our musicians will have the opportunity to win prizes for increasing the amount of time they spend practicing each week. We can’t wait to see how a bit of friendly competition will inspire our students to improve their skills.
