As we continue to expand our financial support network, TCP is excited and honored to be recognized by the Presbyterian Church USA (PCUSA) in two ways this month:
The Common Place was awarded a $10,000 seed grant through 1,001 New Worshipping Communities, a PCUSA initiative whose goal is, “To spark a movement of innovation and risk, courage and faithfulness in the Church of Jesus Christ and bearing witness to the Reign of God in the world.” The receipt of this seed grant allows TCP to pursue further funding in the future as we seek to walk alongside and spiritually engage the community we love and serve.
In addition, the Synod of the Trinity has awarded a $20,000 Innovation Grant for the construction of the Little Scholars Preschool. We are proud to partner with the Synod as we meet our mutual goals of providing education and nurture, while simultaneously promoting social righteousness through education equality.
