TCP Missions Update

Our ClosetMonday, April 30th, 2018

Lorraine Otterbridge, NCSS Clerk volunteering with Our Closet [Apr 30th, 2018]
The volunteer-driven organization, Our Closet, brings their dynamic pop-up shop to The Common Place! Our Closet is a program powered by Jewish Family and Children’s Services that provide the basic need of clothing to vulnerable individuals and their families. By traveling to different neighborhoods delivering clothes via pop up shops, Our Closet meets a basic need for community members in order for them to focus on other stressors.

Join The Common Place as we host the next Our Closet pop-up shop on June 25 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.

Drexel University Day of ServiceMonday, May 11, 2018

Service group from Drexel University during TCP day of service [May 11th, 2018]
The Common Place is thankful for the service of the Drexel University employees who volunteered on our campus. Volunteers repainted the basement ceiling and panels in our Greenway room in addition to cleaning our garden. We appreciate the work of volunteers. Because of their work we are able to keep our campus clean and suitable for our guest!

TCP welcomes volunteers from other organizations and churches. We are available for group and individual volunteer opportunities.
To schedule a volunteer day, contact Rai Lewis.
