Our Orchestra Family is Growing!

The Common Place Orchestra family continues to grow! In the past few weeks, we have had several new students register and experience their first lessons on violin, viola, and cello. Soon, we will be expanding our music program to the Richard Allen Preparatory Charter school in the Elmwood section of Southwest Philadelphia. It is always exciting to show a child how to hold a bow, pluck a string, and read music for the first time.

We are also happy to announce that our older students are looking forward to their first orchestra rehearsal of the season later this month! We cannot wait for you to hear the beautiful music they will make together this year. One of our upcoming performance dates includes the Christmas Cantata in December. However, if you can’t wait until the Christmas programs to hear and see how great these kids are, check out our recital below.
