The Common Place turns 9 on 10/20/22. This is our last year in single digits and were are celebrating the amazing mission and ministry we have been able to do because of YOU – our amazing supporters and cheerleaders!
We’re not going to lie – running a nonprofit that supports our community seven days a week takes resources. Building repairs, educational supplies, and program expansions require financial support from a broad base of donors. The gifts you make go to great use, and you might be surprised by how a small donation can make a big impact! Here are several opportunities to help The Common Place continue our mission:
- Financial Contributions TCP counts on generous donors to keep our doors open and lights on. Your gifts subsidize the high-quality educational opportunities we provide our Scholars, keeping this safe and welcoming space open to anyone, regardless of financial circumstances. After-school tutoring, summer camp, orchestra rehearsals, the vegetable garden, and a future preschool – your dollars provide critical support to our infrastructure and operations.
- Candy Yes, we said candy! Our annual Fall Fest is coming up right around the corner, and our ghost and goblin guests have sugary needs to fulfill. Contributions can be mailed or dropped off Monday-Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM.
- Air Purifiers Maybe not the most exciting purchase you’ll make today, but definitely a helpful one! We love the character and history of working in an older building; we don’t love the dampness in our basement. Consider fulfilling our need to keep our basement dry for musicians and recreation time alike:
