The Development and Fundraising team continues to work hard, opening new revenue streams and foundational partnerships for The Common Place. We are excited to receive an award of $7,500 from Mildred’s Dream Foundation, an organization founded in memory of Mildred Piltch. “Millie” wanted to make the world a better place by helping those who need it most. Educational access was at the forefront of her many passions, and we are grateful to partner with this compassionate new partner.
In addition, TCP was awarded $5,000 from the Gordon Charter Foundation, a local nonprofit that seeks to improve the lives of Philadelphians through arts and culture, education, environmental improvements, healthcare, and human services. The money received from this grant will go toward the opening of The Little Scholars Preschool, serving children ages 2-5 in the Southwest area.
