A Common Mission Experience (ACME) is getting very excited for Summer 2019! This summer we will be hosting 4 weeks of ACME. programming, and hosting Harrisonburg Mennonite Church for their annual week of service in June. Throughout the summer we will host over 100 students and participate in service work with 10 different non-profit organizations in Southwest Philadelphia. Students will be working to update public libraries, build gardens, work with a variety of camps and serve in shelters.

ACME’s priority is to help our youth learn more about social justice and be able to serve productively. These projects are designed to immerse groups into experiences that encourage both personal and spiritual development. Our hope is to broaden youth’s understanding of what it means to serve and why we do it. With the help of our service sites, ACME can make a difference to last until next summer.
We are so appreciative of the support from our surrounding community, and look forward to working together this summer 2019!
