SWAT Summer Exploration 2024 was a blast! Our Program Coordinator, Ms. Angela, created a curriculum that expanded beyond the walls of TCP. 40 campers each week participated in themes that incorporated Social-emotional learning (SEL), enrichment, and camper’s choice activities. The themes we explored this year were: Going Green; a time to Celebrate Nations; Financial Fun; being Time Travelers; the Summer Olympics; Across the USA; Storytelling. We are ending the summer with Mad Science and an exciting wrap up week showcasing some of our art and learnings with parents! Our campers had a great time on all of the planned field trips as well as our in-house activities. We are grateful for our staff, including summer staff and interns from Hardy Williams High School. We wish our campers and interns well in their upcoming school year!
TCPScholars after school program is scheduled to begin Monday, August 26, 2024. Our staff is transitioning over to our after school hours and look forward to adding more new students from the community.
