Hooray, a Grant! We are Growing!
We are pleased to announce that Bunny’s Garden has received a grant from the Philadelphia Committee of the Garden Club of America (PCGCA) for $4,145! To say that we are excited is an understatement. We are growing in many ways and this grant allows us to expand. As we prepare to expand our operations, these funds bring us closer to our goal of increasing the access families have to local fresh organic food. We humbly ask that you consider donating to this cause against food injustice in Southwest Philadelphia so we can continue providing fresh produce to our underserved neighbors and reach our financial goals to establish a farmer’s market this year.
You can read more about the work of the Philadelphia Committee of the Garden Club of America on their website https://www.pcgca.org/. Follow us on social media for garden volunteer days. We have already harvested over 40 pounds of produce this season!!!
