As we approach our 10th anniversary this October, TCP has many opportunities to reflect on our work, celebrate the relationships and love that we have shared, and look forward to our next decade in ministry. Together with the community of Southwest Philadelphia and our many ministry partners, lives have been transformed and the Spirit of Hope lives on.
One of our partners, Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, has also been reflecting on their legacy and ministry. As part of their 150-year celebration, BMPC has generously gifted $50,000 to The Common Place. While this gift alone could do so much, we know that the Spirit works best when the community comes together to serve and support one another.
We are asking our faith partners, individual supporters, and all who love The Common Place to match that gift in the month of October. Together, we have done much good work – and there is much more yet to do. Your donations can help us move forward with the incredible projects on our to-do list including:
- Launching the TCP Marketplace next year, where residents can buy fresh organic produce three days a week
- Opening The Little Scholars Preschool so that our youngest neighbors can get a great start on their educations
- Expanding mental health care services to offer professional counseling to students and their families
We thank you for being part of what has been and what is now. Help us continue to better the future at the corner of 58th and Chester, where the Spirit of Hope transforms lives!
